Make sure you check ebay for centerpieces. The centerpieces we used for my daughter's bat mitzvah are for sale. They are gorgeous shopping theme centerpieces in hot pink, black and white. They are about 3 feet tall and really make the room. They have a real "WOW Factor" when guests first walk in. There are 17 of them - pick up only (too large to ship) in Connecticut. Pictures available in ebay.

Bar Mitzvah in Israel - The holy land and the promise land. Having the Mitzvah Party in Israel is a very special thing. The Bar Mitzvah in Israel is divided to the big party in a garden or a big Hall, the Torah Reading in synagogue and the Tefilin ceremony in the western wall. Another important thing we have to remember is the Speech the bar mitzvah boy is saying in front of all the guests in the party.

(As a marketing intern for Encore Studios, an invitation wholesaler, I would like readers to learn about a new partnership between Encore Studios and Jewish National Fund.)

When a family chooses a Bar or Bat Mitzvah invitation often their goal is to make a statement. Encore Studios, an invitation brand and Jewish National Fund (JNF), a fund raising organization to benefit Israel has entered into a philanthropic partnership. They recently unveiled a line of invitations whose style aligns with today's design trends but also allows the family to make a tax deductible donation in honor of each guest attending which is expressed in a subtle aesthetic way on the invitation.
When a family orders one hundred or more invitations they receive a personalized wood framed Garden Certificate acknowledging the contribution. A JNF representative is available to make a presentation honoring the family for the donation at the service and the honoree’s name will be inscribed in the Book of Gardens, in Jerusalem, Israel.

Over the years JNF has established various programs to help bridge the gap between American Jews and Israel. This newest edition gives Bar or Bat Mitzvah families the opportunity of planting a tree in Israel in honor of every guest they invite to share in their milestone event, and aids to the depleting water supply in the dry lands of Israel. JNF has planted over 240 million trees in Israel's hand-planted forests, which brings relief to many congested towns and cities. In addition, this addition to a Bar or Bat Mitzvah invitation will directly effect JNF's aim of building another 40 reservoirs over the next 5 years in Israel to aid in river rehabilitation.

The partnership between Encore Studios and JNFs allows for a Bar or Bat Mitzvah milestone to be marked with elegant personalized invitations, as Encore Studios, an award winning company, has established themselves at forefront of the invitation industry.

For more information, styles and designs from Encore Studios please visit www.encorestudios.com. And to explore all the contribution JNF has made to Israel please visit www.jnf.org.
We provided a photo booth for a Bar Mitzvah last night. It was a luau theme/pool party. The parents and event planner did an awesome job putting this Bar Mitzvah together. It looked like everyone was having a blast. We are located in Wilmington, NC. Everything was decorated tropical/tiki. The photo booth picture was one of the favors the guests were able to take home with them. We designed the border of the picture to match their theme and put his name and date at the bottom of each picture. I will be updating my website soon with pictures from last night's event- I hope to even have a video clip from the Bar Mitzvah on their soon.

i am having my bat mitzvah in six months, exactly on november the thriteenth, and i was having a hard time picking out a theme so one of my mom's friends said to go onto this website and it has helped my mom and i alot. I was going to have a candy shop theme but my cousins on each sides of the family had candy themes. So i was thinking of things i really enjoy to do and what i like, i love fashion i even watn to do something with fashion in my career in the future so i picked the coolest theme that could accordinate to a lot of things i like, just like soccer and shopping!!! my theme is now "A Night in Paris with Rebecca"
i need more ideas for my theme so we can start to be prepared for the setting, we have a great place for the reception and most of our work is done except the party theme!! Also if anyone has ideas for the theme it would be so helpful!!!!!
