New Theme Idea: "Through The Years"

I am addicted to the Weddingbee website (I know I'm not getting married, but it's fun to see what creative things brides are doing with their weddings nowadays!).  This very creative bride named Kelly came up with a "Through the Years" theme for her wedding.  For each year, she had two photographs from that year (one of herself, and one of her husband).  It was so cute, and it made me realize what a wonderful theme this would be for a bar or bat mitzvah as well.  Start from the year your child was born, and make each table number a year, with a photograph of the Bar/Bat mitzvah boy/girl on each one.  I've never seen it as a theme, and I think it would be a great way to show how your child has developed and grown over the years.
