Super Sushi Party

We recently threw this super sushi party for a close friend. First off, we made candy sushi from rice krispies, marshmallows, fruit rollups, and swedish fish! I got a sushi box from our local Publix, and displayed them with chopsticks. They looked so cute and tasted great!

We strung the room with red and white paper lanterns for our Japanese atmosphere. Japanese music was playing in the background as the guests arrived. Each place setting had a Chinese takeout box filled with custom fortune cookies. The red envelope on top of the boxes were stuffed with fortune telling fish. On each plate was a red circle welcoming the guest to the party and showing their name translated into Japanese.

I dressed in a kimono and showed all the guests how to roll their own sushi. We all agreed that it was the best sushi we had ever tasted!

This sounds like so much fun and it's such a different kind of party experience. Very unique idea!
