Football Centerpiece

If you are doing a sports-themed Bar/Bat Mitzvah, here's an easy inexpensive idea for a table decoration.We created the football centerpieces pictured below for a superbowl party, but this idea can work with any sport (I also have used this same vase with tennis balls and it looked adorable). Purchase a cylindrical vase (I purchased these at Walmart for $2/each). Cut a circle of astroturf to line the bottom of the vase. Fill the vase with sports balls from your theme (these are foam footballs purchased at a local party supply store). I attached the party logo (printed out on cardstock), and strung through some colored grosgrain ribbon to finish off the look. Additional touches were the little football guys from Kaskey Kids, and the table cover, made from astroturf purchased at Home Depot.
