Sealing Wax
Saturday, March 8, 2008 at 10:36AM I just love the look of sealing wax. It gives such a nostalgic feel... Now it's easier than ever to use it, because sealing wax now comes in a form that fits into a glue gun! You just slide the wax into the glue gun, the glue gun heats it up, squeeze the wax onto the envelope, and press in the seal! You could press in a monogram seal, or Star of David seal, or any other design that matches your invitation. Add coordinating ribbon beneath the seal for an extra touch... When using a wax seal, either use an outer mailing envelope to protect the seal, or make sure to hand cancel the envelope at the post office. Just a fun little embellishment to make your invitations extra special!
