Double Duty for Kiddush luncheon flowers
Sunday, August 26, 2007 at 4:48PM As you know, the cost of floral centerpieces can really add up quickly. A tip is to use your kiddush luncheon buffet flowers again for your evening reception (make sure this is allowed by your temple--rules vary on taking things out of the temple on Shabbat). In my temple (a Reform synagogue), it was fine to simply take the beautiful rose centerpieces off the luncheon buffet with all the bagels and lox, and transport them to my evening reception site to adorn the dinner buffets. A nice way to save a little money on floral centerpieces!
